24小时外圈

探险家型 II额外具备24小时显示，专用指针每24小时循环表盘，而不是常见的12小时，并指向24小时刻度的固定外圈。此功能让佩戴者明辨昼夜时间，对于在漆黑环境中探险（例如深入洞穴之中），或者在太阳永不下山地带（例如在极地的夏季）尤其重要。

黑色表盘

探险家型 II配备日历显示、额外的橙色24小时指针及24小时刻度固定外圈，轻松辨别昼夜。它成为了洞穴探险家、火山学家和极地探险家的首选表款。腕表的钟点标记与指针采用易读Chromalight显示，散发持久蓝色光芒。

蚝式钢

劳力士采用蚝式钢锻造钢腕表表壳。品牌研发的蚝式钢属904L钢一类，这种合金广泛用于高科技、航空及化工，故必然具备高抗腐蚀性。蚝式钢非常耐用，经打磨后散发出耀目光芒，即使在极端的环境，其美态依然不减。
